IT Technician – Burnley
We are looking for a bright and proactive individual to come and join our technical support team.
You would be providing technical support for all our clients and corporate IT Support Contract holders. The job has an interesting varied role in and out of the office and involves dealing with all level of end users to system administrators.
Must have previous IT Support experience.
Must be in good health and punctual. Ideally resident in and around Burnley area to service local clients.
Successful applicant will be based in Burnley but responsible to service customers Approx 25 mile radius.
Support all IT Support Contract customers to Line 1,Line 2 and Line 3 Level, reporting directly to the General Manager.
Perform onsite call outs,
Perform day to day admin work.
Salary: £20,000 to £24,000 per annum depending on qualifications and experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
Maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to client SLA’s.
Monitor the IT Help desk mailbox and log support calls.
Support all IT Enquiries, reporting directly to the General Manager.
Travel between sites may be required and a clean and current driving licence is essential
Involved in procurement of equipment and management of service providers
Carry out Documentation and Support Log Updates
Recommended education / experience / skills
Direct work experience in a 2nd/3rd Line Support capacity
Experience in troubleshooting in a MS Domain Server environment including Active Directory, DNS and Cloud architecture.
MS Office 2007-2016
Networking Hardware and Switch Router configuration
TCP/IP Addressing, Network Protocols and Network and Internet security
Exchange server 2007-2016, Active Directory
Full UK Driving Licence
£20,000 to £24,000 per annum depending.
