What do we do?

Once your laptop has been booked in for repair and we have carried out our initial inspection we will contact you and explain the fault and give the options available including an estimated cost for proceeding with the repair.

How long does a repair take?

Generally we give a two to three day lead time, however in many instances we can complete the repair on the same day.  Some repairs do take longer as they are goverened by the availability of spare parts required.

Can you repair at my premises?

Hardware repairs on laptops and notebooks are a carried out in our workshops but we can do some software repairs on customer site.  Free pickup and drop off service is available for customers within the local area.

Obsolete Product Sourcing

Quite often it is more convenient to repair or replace older equipment rather than have the potential hassle of system reconfiguration.

P3 Computers can often source obsolete products whether it be old hard disk drives or tape backup drives to old printers.  Please call us and we’ll give you and answer on the availability of any spare within 24 hours.

PC Data Recovery  (hard disk drives and USB pen drives)

If your hard drive is noisy or has died, or you accidentally deleted your files and folders, we should be your first port of call for data recovery.  In many cases it isn’t necessary to have the attention of the hard disk drive repair specialist which are generally very expensive.   We will always endeavour to retrieve as much data from your hard disk drive as possible.    Also if you have a broken USB pen drive we can very often retrieve data and place it fully intact onto a new drive.

Internet & Virus Problems

We can set up your broadband or wireless (WiFi) network, , connect multiple PCs to each other as well as securing your network against intruders. Virus protection is essential. If you don’t already have an anti-virus program we will set one up for you and run a full scan on your computer.

Confidentiality

Your data is completely safe with us. We will never make copies of data unless you authorise it and we will never keep any copies that are made. Any CDs or DVDs we make will be yours to keep. We will also never access any files on your computer without your permission, so your privacy is assured.
